βFAQs
Check out the answers to the most commonly asked questions about GradeChum:
What is GradeChum?
GradeChum is an AI-powered grading assistant that automatically grades handwritten tests on paper. It is the first AI-powered grading tool in the Philippines, designed to work alongside teachers, not to replace them.
How does GradeChum work?
For us to automatically grade students' handwritten answers, we follow this process:
The teacher inputs the questions in-app, then prints the specialized GradeChum answer sheets
The teacher gives the test to the students and let the students answer using the specialized answer sheet.
Once done, teacher must collect all answer sheets and scan them using the scanner we provided to our partner school (see scanning video).
GradeChum then processes the answer sheets, and checks the answers for each student.
Once complete, the teacher can now view the results and scores of the students.
