⭕Shading
Introduction
An activity with a shading test type is an activity where students are given multiple-choice questions and answer each number by shading the correct letter.
In this segment, we will explore how to create an activity on a Shading test.
Steps
To create an activity with a Shading test type, follow these instructions:
On your class, under the Activities tab, click the + Create Activity > Create New. This will open a sidebar modal.

Give your activity a name.

Select which category the activity belongs to.

Add a test by clicking the + icon, then select "Add new test".

Select "Shading" as test type.

Click the "Add" button. This will add a test labeled Test I.
Note: You can only add one (1) Shading test per activity, maximum of 120 items.

Under Test I, click the + icon to add an item. Then, select "Single Item”. Doing so will add an unfilled single item card.

Fill out the question for this item.

Add options for this item by clicking the + Add option button. You can add up to 5 options (a-e) for a single item.

Select the correct answer from your list of options by clicking on the letter circle, located beside the option text. You will know that the option has been set when the letter circle turns green.

Set the score on the bottom left. This should be a whole number and should be greater than 0.

To add more items to the shading test, repeat steps 7-11.
Once done, click the "Create Activity" button. You will be shown an overlay that asks you to create sets for this activity.

If you wish to create sets, follow this documentation. Else, click "No thanks".

Finally, you will be redirected to view the activity you just created.

And that's how you create an activity with a Shading test! Next, let's explore other options to create activities in GradeChum.
